ARTBLOX

We have been so fortunate to have artists who LOVE creating these artblox's for our machine.

Watching people count the levers, stop on a lucky number for their pull or randomly close their eyes and pick...most of all we love telling them about the artist who made the block and how their purchase has helped an artist in need.

Since this isn't a mass produced machine and we only have one (and only plan to have one), we only ask artists who we know to make the blocks.

Lately I've been making them...I love working small and found this to be an activity I could do in spurts. These people have been in my drawings for many years...many have been on ceramics from my past but are reappearing on the blocks.  Dots, color, mysterious.

Maybe not mysterious... but just fun to paint.

I also love words and how they can relate to a photo or a painting.  Anyone can find meaning for that particular word...haste (rash or headlong action) .  Yes, that about sums it up.
