Our July show

opened with perfect weather.

Our grass was out on the sidewalk and drew lots of attention.  We laugh because we get sooo many questions on why we did this...we say "why not".

Here are a few of the questions or comments:
1.  Will the grass grow there forever?  no, it will eventually die because it's directly on the cement.
2.  Will you need to mow the grass?  No, we won't need to bring in a lawnmower
3.  Did you have to ask someone for permission? yes, we needed a permit and a giant insurance    policy...please don't trip on our grass.
4.  Will we do this again...yes

We all agree that green grass and plants soften the landscape.  So it seems that Joni Mitchell's song is true when city planners think about downtowns..."put up a parking lot".

We wish it were easy.  If we could only remove the sidewalk and plant grass and trees.

As for right now, we are thrilled to bring smiles to those that kick off their shoes and walk in our little slice of green heaven.  Who would know that something so simple makes people happy.
